CARRIE DORR
Carrie Dorr is the Creator and CEO of O44 METHOD, a newly launched fitness concept, and WAYWELLOLOGY, the wellness education arm of O44.
Fitness and health have always been synonymous with Carrie. She put herself through Law School as a fitness instructor and professional dancer at the Super Bowl Games, Disneyland, the Atlanta Olympics and numerous Parades. Before boutique fitness was a mainstream trend, she started her first independent studio in 2001 out of a 600 square foot janitorial closet in the basement of a building, which soon became the first PURE BARRE studio. From humble beginnings, Carrie grew the Pure Barre empire to 100 locations which is now North America’s largest, most established barre franchise with more than 500 studios.
Carrie’s passion, drive, discipline and overall love for wellness helped paved her way in the industry and contributed to her becoming an expert and disruptor in the space.
Carrie has a Business degree from Michigan State University and a Law Degree from Wayne State. She is a guest speaker on entrepreneurship and franchising for the MBA programs at the University of Southern California, Michigan State and the University of Colorado.
Carrie currently resides in Marin, CA with her husband, 3 middle schoolers and spirited labrador.

Would rather be on a trail than most other places. Constantly thinking, wondering, researching, creating…and then working on not doing those things and being present. Loves to learn. Insatiably curious. Genuinely loves exercise and Frank’s homemade almond butter. Enneagram 7. Feels on purpose and at peace when creating, educating, sharing and empowering other people. Here to make an impact by creating things that do good in the world. Biggest fear is not doing that.
