Eating MORE might seem counter-intuitive when you are trying to avoid overeating but it’s actually my #1 tip.
I like the analogy of your body being like a car that needs a constant stream of gas. If you let your car run out of gas and get to empty, it takes a whole lot of gas all at once to fill it back up. Our bodies operate the same way. Eating nourishing snacks every 2-3 hours will prevent you from consuming more then you need at any given meal or holiday party! Here are a few of my go-to snacks that will fill you up and keep your engine running.
1. Apple + almond butter
2. Sprouted bread + avocado
3. Nut Medley- Almonds, Cashews, Walnuts, Brazil Nut
4. Jilz crackers w/ hummus or avo or almond butter
5. Veggies + hummus
